Founded in Cork in 2018, MapOdyssey emerged from a simple belief: Europe's wilderness areas deserve to be experienced authentically, respectfully, and safely. Our founder Sarah O'Brien, a certified mountain guide with over 15 years of expedition experience, saw too many travellers missing the continent's most spectacular natural areas.
We've built relationships with local communities across Ireland, Scotland, and the Alpine regions, ensuring our expeditions benefit the places we visit. Every guide on our team holds professional qualifications and deep local knowledge, from hidden waterfalls in Kerry to secret alpine routes in the Dolomites.
